Sailor found deadon mines warship
A sailor has been found dead on board a Royal Navy warship while docked at a naval base.
The 20-year-old man was on the mine countermeasures vessel HMS Cattistock at Portsmouth Naval Base, Hampshire, at 4.15pm on Sunday.
It is understood that the sailor died of gunshot wounds but police are not confirming a cause of death until the results of a post-mortem examination.
