SANDERSON Weatherall, the chartered surveyor and property consultant, has established an advice service for Nisa, the Scunthorpe-based independent retail group.
It’s hoped the agreement will help small retailers to save money, at a time when consumer spending is being squeezed and the economy is struggling. The Nisa group, which has more than 1,080 registered shareholders, has chosen Sanderson Weatherall to provide property advice and services to its members.
Leeds-based Sanderson Weatherall, which has 84 staff in Yorkshire, will help Nisa members who are considering making acquisitions, or need help with business rates and property valuations.
David Rastrick, a partner at Sanderson Weatherall, said the deal would help Nisa members tackle some of the complex issues surrounding the management of commercial premises.
John Heagney, of Nisa group, said yesterday: “We are extremely pleased to be working with Sanderson Weatherall on this new service, which is a first for our sec- tor.”
