Search for ‘Incredible Hulk’ over assault

A WOMAN dressed as the Incredible Hulk is being sought by police in connection with an assault on another woman.

Yesterday police in York issued CCTV pictures of a woman, seen painted green with a ripped top, who they wish to trace in connection with an assault outside a fast- food restaurant.

The incident happened in the early hours, outside the McDonalds restaurant on Blake Street, York, as the woman in fancy dress left the restaurant with a group of other people.

As a result of the assault, the victim, a 17-year-old local girl, was left with bruising to her face and a black eye.

At the time of the incident, at 3am on Friday, April 26, the suspect was covered in green body paint with dyed red hair.

However, police say she is believed to be white, in her late teens or early twenties, of medium build and around 5ft 8in.

PC Cheryl Hunter, of York Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: “This appears to have been a wholly unprovoked assault. Thankfully the injuries were not too severe. However, the outcome could have been far more serious.
