Seat is left for Claudia at races
tHE father of missing York chef Claudia Lawrence will today try to enjoy a day out at the races.
Peter Lawrence has campaigned to try and find out what has happened to her after she went missing from York in March 2009.
He is taking friends to York Races to celebrate his birthday on Wednesday and at lunch there will be a space left for Claudia, who would normally have been with him.
Martin Dales, his friend, said it was a milestone despite the burden weighing heavy on him.
