Security staff caught breaking rules

Investigators found all but one of the staff questioned during visits to Sheffield and Rotherham held a valid SIA licence but also said that “some breaches of licence conditions” were found.

In total, 33 pubs, bars and clubs were visited and 94 door staff were inspected. In Sheffield, 21 venues were visited, 58 people were checked and 57 were correctly licensed.
