Service to install new Archdeacon

REPRESENTATIVES from parishes across the Diocese of Sheffield will gather at Sheffield Cathedral later this month for the installation of The Venerable Martyn Snow as the new Archdeacon of Sheffield and Rotherham.

Archdeacon Snow will work across the Sheffield and Rotherham archdeaconry which is made up of groups of parishes working together in units known as deaneries, and will work with clergy and congregations.

The Bishop of Sheffield, Dr Steven Croft, will take part in the service on Thursday, April 29, at 7.30pm at which he will also be welcomed by his fellow Archdeacon, The Venerable Bob Fitzharris, Archdeacon of Doncaster.
