Sex offender linked to two crimes

Detectives are appealing for information following indecent exposures in the Middleton area of Leeds.

They are investigating two incidents in which a man exposed himself to women which, West Yorkshire Police said yesterday, are being linked.

In the first incident, two women were walking along Acre Road at about 4.30pm on Sunday June 26, when a black Renault Clio pulled up alongside them.

The driver pretended he was looking for directions to Belle Isle Road before indecently exposing himself to the women and then driving off.

A similar incident occurred in the area on Saturday July 2 when two females were approached on Sissons Lane at about 8.30pm.

Yesterday, detectives appealed for anyone with information that would identify the man responsible to get in touch with them.

He is described as being white, around 40-years-old, of slim build with a skinny face and to be about 5ft 10ins tall. Witnesses describe him as being bald with a few strands of ginger hair and ginger facial stubble.
