Sheffield Wednesday fan reunited with lost ticket for Huddersfield Town semi-final after online appeal

A Sheffield Wednesday fan set was set to miss out on tonight's vital play-off semi-final game against Huddersfield Town after dropping his wallet containing his match ticket.

But a hero on Twitter who found the wallet containing the ticket put out an appeal on Twitter.

Josh Newland wrote on Twitter: "Anyone know this lad? Just found his wallet at sheff train station, got match ticket, cash and ID in it! RT #swfc"

Within just two hours, the wallet's owner had been found.

Josh added: "Just meet him to give it him back, safe to say he's buzzing I found it, he was about to get a train back home! #swfc"

Hundreds of people chimed in to lend their support for Josh's actions.
