Showjumping prospect uncovered
Emily Hobson, 14, from Doncaster, on her way to beating over 40 other showjumping hopefuls to win the Next Talented Showjumper competition.
The young rider could be a real star of the future according to Graham Fletcher, who judged the competition with his wife, Tina. Emily, riding her pony Chocolate Supreme, won through to be one of four finalists in the competition. Second was Sam Reddrop from Buckinghamshire; third was Racheal Smith from Chorley; and fourth Ben Raistrick from Selby.
Emily has been riding since she was three and wants to have a career in showjumping. She won 300 and a day’s training with the Fletchers at their Oxfordshire yard.
