SMALL businesses cannot ignore the digital revolution, but an alarming number of our region’s entrepreneurs have failed to establish a powerful online brand.

Digital Kitbag, the Johnston Press-owned digital marketing service for small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs), will be running a free digital marketing seminar for local SMEs in collaboration with The Yorkshire Post on Tuesday, May 12 at The White Cloth Gallery, in Leeds.

The attendees will hear from industry experts about digital marketing for SMEs, to help them improve their online presence and win more customers.

Businesses can register at, where they can also book a one-to-one session on the day, with a digital marketing expert who will provide tailored advice specifically for their business.

All the businesses who attend will be entered into a prize draw to win a free professional website from Digital Kitbag.

“For example, just under half don’t even have a website. Our seminars are designed to address this and take away the complexity to help SMEs gain valuable insight into digital marketing that will empower them for the future. We’re looking forward to seeing many local businesses attend on the day.”
