Presenters Stu and Kelly are joining fellow Radio Aire presenters Scott Makin, Debbie Mac, Connor Phillips, Michael Blades and Tony Shepherd.

Speaking about her new role, Kelly said: “Leeds is such an amazing city and I can’t wait to call it my home and be part of the radio station.”

Speaking about his new earlier wake-up time, Stu said: “I’m really looking forward to finding new ways to do my hair at half 4 in the morning.”

The pair hope to build on the success of their previous work at Metro, where they consistently beat Radio 2 to the Saturday morning top spot across the North East.

Radio Aire’s new breakfast show will be on air every weekday morning from 6am onwards.
