Sir Jimmy hangs up his walking boots

After walking from Land's End to John O'Groats three times, Sir Jimmy Savile has decided to hang up his boots.

He made the announcement on the day he took delivery of a new 158,000 Bentley Continental GT convertible, a six-litre supercar capable of 200mph.

The 83-year-old showbiz legend from Leeds who has 216 marathons under his belt for good causes, said: “I’ve already got a Drophead Rolls Royce. It looked a bit lonely in the lock-up, so I bought this to keep it company.”
