Sky creates 500 jobs on city’s digital campus

MEDIA giant Sky has revealed the site of its new base in Sheffield – where the firm will create as many as 500 new jobs when it opens in June.

The company yesterday unveiled plans to occupy an area half the size of a football pitch at Ventana House, in Sheffield Digital Campus. It will be the site’s second major tenant, after Kennedys law firm moved in last year

Ann Allen, business investment manager at development agency Creativesheffield, said: “Sky is a great name to be moving into Sheffield Digital Campus and will complement the other creative, digital and new media companies who already operate there.”
