Sniffing out a Royal

The first disabled serviceman to receive a "canine carer" told Prince Harry how his life has been transformed by his four-legged helper. The 25-year-old royal met wheelchair-bound Petty Officer Steve Brookes, 31, during a visit yesterday to a charity which trains dogs for their handicapped owners.

As well as the officer and his family, the Prince also spent time playing with some of the young puppies being put through their paces at the organisation's headquarters near Midhurst in West Sussex.
