Their bike collided with a Vauxhall Vectra on the sliproad from the A162 onto the A64 at Tadcaster, North Yorkshire, on Wednesday evening.

The Bradford couple, who celeberated their second wedding anniversary last week, were thrown from the bike.

Mrs Slater worked in the mental health department at Bateman’s and represented clients in the Bradford area.

Colleagues described her as loyal, hard-working and a good friend.

Police believe they had been riding in a group of bikers which included four Yamaha R1s, a Honda CBR600 and a Honda CBR1000.
