Someone in Leeds is sitting on a Christmas lottery million!

A SEARCH is under way in Leeds for one of the final two winners of the record-breaking Christmas Eve EuroMillions Millionaire Raffle.

The raffle created 25 new millionaires in the UK - a new world record for the most millionaires created in a single draw.

The National Lottery said 23 of these winners have come forward but two more have still not claimed their prize.

Operator Camelot said it was looking for a ticket numbered DGW560374, which was bought in the Leeds area of West Yorkshire.

Another, number DGV087857, was bought in the Watford or Hemel Hempstead areas of Hertfordshire.

The winners have until 5.30pm on Wednesday June 22 to make their claims. All players have been encouraged to check their tickets by Strictly Come Dancing champion and former EastEnders star Kara Tointon, who promoted the Christmas Eve draw.

She said: "The clock is now ticking for these two lucky winners. Anyone who played EuroMillions in these areas should check their tickets as they could now be worth 1 million."

A National Lottery spokesman said: "These two secret millionaires are out there somewhere and all they need to do to claim is check their numbers and give us a call. We want players to check down the back of the sofa and in coat pockets as these millions could be hiding anywhere."

Anyone who believes they have the winning tickets should call the National Lottery Line on 0845 910 0000.
