Son of Nigeria's first PM kidnapped
Kidnappers have seized the son of Nigeria's first prime minister.
Police spokesman Moshood Jimoh said kidnappers took Jamil Balewa. He had no other details about the kidnapping.
Mr Balewa, 60, is the son of Tafawa Balewa, Nigeria’s first prime minister, who was killed in the country’s 1966 coup. He is also an organiser of a group supporting President Goodluck Jonathan’s possible bid in next year’s presidential election.
