Sound ideas for artworks

Claire Longrigg, assistant curator of exhibitions at the Ferens Art Gallery, Hull with Eilis O'Connell's scuplture Orixa at an exhibition organised by Future Ferens, an organisation for young people aged 18 to 25, and bringing together artworks that were gifted or acquired with the support of the Contemporary Art Society.

East Yorkshire musicians have provided a soundtrack for the exhibition Unwrapped which has listening posts near some of the artworks.

Two of the artists, Claude Heath and Alan Currall, will be talking about their work at an official launch tomorrow at 7pm.

Ms Longrigg said: "The Future Ferens scheme is a fantastic opportunity for young people to have a say and get involved with their local art gallery."
