Sports car driver dies after crash
A vintage sports car driver has died in Hull Royal Infirmary after an accident involving his AC Cobra and a white Ford Transit van on the B1249 on Staxton Hill, near Gantondale Farm outside Scarborough.
The Cobra driver suffered serious head injuries in the crash on September 28. He was named by North Yorkshire police yesterday as Jonathan Rhodes, 59, of Scarborough.
An inquest will be opened and adjourned.
