Stadium pop concert ‘in chaos’, police claim
Around 6,000 people attended the 1980s revival concert at the Bradford Bulls Provident Stadium in May which featured Rick Astley, Belinda Carlisle and others.
But, say police, there was a “total disregard” for public safety, a lack of control over a marquee and drunken people continued to be served.

Police have asked Bradford Council to review the premises licence at a meeting on August 20.
A police report said that by 8.25pm on the day “it had become apparent that the marquee was in a state of chaos; no one was in control of the sale and supply of alcohol”.
It said a licensing officer was ignored and staff refused to comply with his requests.
A club spokesman denied the event was chaotic and said he was confident councillors would support its case. He denied drunk people were served.
