Still singing along at 100
Sam Lazarus has just celebrated his 100th birthday – and is believed to be the oldest singer on the internet site YouTube. His talent is set to be heard across the World Wide Web after he starred in his own music video.
Mr Lazarus, a resident at Donisthorpe Hall, Shadwell, Leeds, says singing is one of his favourite pastimes. He says: "I used to sing in the choir in the synagogue and people used to ask me to give them a song.
"I didn't mind it – I used to think it was a good thing because singing makes me happy."
