Street star's cryptic return

Coronation Street actress Helen Worth returned to her native Yorkshire to shoot scenes for the eagerly awaited trial of her screen character Gail McIntyre.

But it was the appearance of the show's Tracy Barlow, played by Kate Ford, that will leave viewers intrigued after yesterday's filming in Bradford.

The pair were both spotted going into Bradford City Hall, where crew are shooting scenes for Gail's trial in the historic landmark's Victorian court which was also used for filming Tracy Barlow's trial three years ago.

According to reports, Tracy – who is serving 15 years in prison for murdering lover Charlie Stubbs in 2007 – is set to dramatically return to the soap in a gripping storyline.

But viewers will have to wait until the end of May to see the scenes shot yesterday.

Worth, who hails from Ossett, near Wakefield, has been in the soap opera for more than 30 years.
