Stricken sailor gets stand-in
British sailor Alex Thomson will compete in the two-handed Barcelona non-stop around-the-world race when he has fully recovered from surgery for appendicitis.
Organisers accepted a request from Thomson's Hugo Boss sailing team to allow a temporary substitute skipper to replace him at the start.
