Strictly star bailed after denying driving charge
Strictly Come Dancing star Ricky Whittle denied dangerous driving when he appeared in court yesterday.
The actor, who was runner-up in the BBC dancing show in December, was arrested after he allegedly struck a photographer with his car.
The incident, in November last year, happened as Whittle left a party for the cast of the Channel Four soap Hollyoaks at a bar in Liverpool.
Whittle, 30, of Wigan, was bailed by Liverpool Crown Court. A four-day trial is due to start on Monday August 9.
