Summit to work on green vision for next 20 years
BUSINESSES and community groups will meet in Hull today to develop a “green” strategy for the city.
The Hull Green Vision Summit at the Guildhall aims to make Hull one of the greenest cities in Europe.
Hull Council said: “This will create the bones of a strategy and map out the steps needed to achieve the ambitious plans to be a leading green city in the UK and Europe over the next five to 10 years and throughout the vision’s 20-year lifespan.
Winners of a schools green vision art competition will also be announced.
Coun Martin Mancey said: “I would encourage everyone to get involved and help shape our green Hull future.”
