Supermarket giant acts after explosion

Supermarket giant Sainsbury's has switched off 158 coffee machines of the type that exploded in one of its stores.

Seven people suffered minor injuries when an Elektra machine exploded at a shop in Kingsmead Shopping Centre, Farnborough, Hampshire.

Casualties included customers and staff. The company – which started an investigation – said a ruptured pipe in the machine caused the explosion.
