Supreme pork pie award winner
An article in Saturday's Yorkshire Post stated that Hinchliffe's Farm Shop at Netherton in Huddersfield had won the Supreme Pork Pie award at the 2007 Great Yorkshire Pork Pie competition.
The award was in fact won by Hinchliffe’s Butchery, an independent business which was based on the same site and in the same building as Hinchliffe’s Farm Shop until fire destroyed the premises in July this year.
The owners of Hinchliffe’s Butchery continue to operate from a farm shop at Bolster Moor, Huddersfield.
