Having been chosen from hundreds of hopefuls from across Europe, Tyler showed off some of the inspiring ski tricks and stunts that helped to impress the selectors at Halifax Ski and Snowboard Centre yesterday.

The undefeated British Kids' Freeski Champion, from Halifax, is among some of the world's most promising young skiing and snowboarding talent who will compete for the chance to perform alongside the world's best at ESPN's prestigious Winter X Games Europe, in a new seven-part TV series on Disney XD.

Next X, an action sports reality series, will chronicle the journeys of six youngsters as they showcase their talents.

Tyler, who has competed at prestigious international events including The London Ride and Metro Ski Show, will be mentored by the UK's top freeskier, 21-year-old Paddy Graham.
