Taste of things to come at Great Yorkshire Show
The Yorkshire Agricultural Society’s chief executive Nigel Pulling prepares to sample pigs and poultry of a different kind at the Great Yorkshire Showground in Harrogate.
The chocolate animals, served by Vikki Butler, are making an appearance courtesy of the chocolatiers at Bettys as tickets go on sale for this year’s Great Yorkshire Show from July 10-12.
Mr Pulling said: “At this time of year, it’s a relief that any livestock arriving is only temporary. In July visitors can see more than 5,000 animals competing for the top awards, and although we don’t have a category for the chocolate variety, I’m happy to say these are first class. This gets our ticket sales off to a great start.”
