Tasty accolade for farm shop
A FARM shop and cafe set up by the Yorkshire Agricultural Society is celebrating another major award win just six months after opening its doors.
Fodder, which is based at the Great Yorkshire Showground, has been named Best Yorkshire Enterprise by rural champions, the Countryside Alliance.
The shop's stock is provided by a network of more than 180 farmers and producers, with 85 per cent of the food sold and served from Yorkshire.
Fodder's staff and bosses must now wait to see if they can win the national title, which will be announced at the House of Lords in February.
