Teen driver seriously hurt in Doncaster collision

A teenager was seriously injured when the car he was driving left the road and collided with a fence in Doncaster.

The 19-year-old man was taken to hospital with serious and possibly life altering injuries, police said.

The incident occurred on Clifton Hill in the Conisbrough area at about 11.45pm on Saturday and involved a red Volkswagen Polo.

South Yorkshire Police is asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who saw the car prior to the collision to contact officer on 101 quoting incident number 1275 of 13 February 2016.
