Ten years ofsaving lives

Celebrating 10 years of the Yorkshire Air Ambulance are, from left, Paul Bradbury, Dr Andy Pountney, Tony Wilkes and Chief Pilot Steve Cobb.

The service’s life-saving work was marked last night at an anniversary event at York Racecourse. One of the charity’s most high-profile rescues came in 2006 when Top Gear star Richard Hammond crashed while filming at Elvington Racetrack, near York.
