Tenants' chance to quiz council chief

COUNCIL tenants in Hull will get the chance to question city council leader Carl Minns at the next meeting of the Hull Tenants' Forum.

Coun Minns will be accompanied by Angela Dunn, the authority's head of social care and housing, at the meeting at Hull Guildhall on Tuesday, July 20, from 10am to 1pm.

All council tenants are invited to attend and ask questions, and priority will be given to questions submitted in advance of the meeting.

Forum chairman Betty Peck said the event would provide an opportunity to improve and influence the way the council's housing services are delivered.

"Having the opportunity to question the leader and senior housing officials is important to the forum and is yet another way in which we can influence the development of housing services in the city," she said. "I hope as many tenants as possible will be able to make the meeting."

The deadline for submitting questions is Wednesday, July 14.

These can be sent on email to [email protected], or in writing to Tenant Participation Team, 3rd floor Kenworthy House, 98-104 George Street, Hull, HU1 3DT. Alternatively, call 01482 300300.
