Thai ties for café
Drawing on the South East Asia Museum collections Hull University, the latest café case mini display looks at the country and the hierarchy of Theravada Buddhism, and society in the traditional Thai state.
David Marchant, above, East Riding Council’s museums registrar, said: “The display is a colourful and fascinating collection of artefacts, which anyone who has visited Thailand or wants to learn more about that country will hopefully find enjoyable and informative.”
The Treasure House display runs until March 28. The South East Asia Museum itself is in the Wilberforce Building on the university campus.
