The Queen has been seen attending church in Norfolk after recovering from illness.
Her Majesty was confined indoors over the Christmas and New Year period due to a ‘heavy cold’ while staying at her Sandringham estate.
She stepped out in a purple outfit to attend a Sunday morning service at Flitcham Church in the rain today.
Also seen among the royal party was the monarch’s nephew the second Earl of Snowdon, David Armstrong-Jones, whose father Lord Snowdon passed away earlier in the week. The first earl was married to Princess Margaret until they divorced in 1978.
