Leeds

These are the top 10 property hotspots in Yorkshire

A house trader has highlighted the areas of Yorkshire that are experiencing the most demand from buyers.

Gavin Bragz set up PropCast, which uses data to analyse which areas are proving popular for house-hunters. The top 10 postcodes are all sellers' markets because demand for properties often outstrips supply. Some of the areas are up-and-coming but popular for their transport links, amenities and accessible house prices. Many of the 'coldspots' are in well-established affluent areas where there is low demand and a slow-moving market. Inner-city postcodes in Leeds and Sheffield have experienced the most growth, as gentrification and fluctuating demand means that the market is constantly evolving.

This Leeds postcode includes Kirkstall, Burley and Woodhouse. Popular due to the Kirkstall Forge development and its new rail link to the city centre. These areas are also close to the universities.
