Thousands of pupils in Yorkshire face disruption next week when standard assessment tests are boycotted by teachers.

About 400 schools in six of the region's education authorities will be hit by the industrial dispute, according local councils and union leaders.

The scale of disruption caused by the boycott, which is due to start on Monday, is not yet known.
