Three arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after stabbing in Huddersfield

Three men have today (Thursday) been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a stabbing in Huddersfield.

A man, 30, and woman, 23, were left with stab wounds after the attack on Tuesday in Larch Road, Paddock.Detectives stepped up patrols in the area and appealed for information yesterday following the stabbing, which has left both victims with serious injuries.

Now Three men, aged 27, 34 and 37, from Huddersfield, have been arrested for attempted murder and remain in police custody.

Police said enquires are still ongoing.

Detective Inspector Mark Atkinson, of Kirklees CID, said: "I would like to continue to appeal to anyone who may have seen a white vehicle on Larch Road between 11pm-11:30pm on 11 July on Larch Road to come forward to the police."

Both victims remain in hospital today, police said.
