Three crew killed as liner rams pier
Three crew members were killed when a luxury cruise liner carrying nearly 1,500 passengers slammed into a pier as it docked in Egypt yesterday.
Italian shipping line Costa Crociera said passengers from the Costa Europe were being sent to hotels before being sent home from Sharm el-Sheik. Three British nationals were hospitalised while evacuating the ship, it was revealed.
Witnesses said fierce winds had rocked the area overnight.
