Three-year-old seriously injured in collision
A three-year-old child has suffered serious injuries after being hit by a 4x4 car in South Yorkshire this morning.
The youngster was airlifted to hospital after the accident around 11.30am this morning in Tickhill Square, Denaby Main, near Doncaster.
A spokeswoman for South Yorkshire Police said: “It is reported that a grey Nissan X-Trail was involved in a collision with a three-year-old child.
“The child was taken to hospital via air ambulance to be treated for serious injuries.
“The road was closed for a short time to enable emergency services to respond to the incident.”
