Tiger group clash leaves man seriously hurt

A MAN was seriously injured when two groups clashed in Leeds three weeks ago.

The 25-year-old had his eye socket fractured after an argument between his group and several other men dressed as tigers turned violent.

West Yorkshire Police are now appealing for information about the incident in the Headingley area of the city.

The confrontation – which occurred near the Arc bar on Ash Road – happened at about 9pm on Saturday July 16.

However, the details were only released by West Yorkshire Police yesterday.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or who knows anyone who was in Headingley dressed as a tiger that evening is asked to contact Detective Constable Nathalie Tasker at Weetwood police station on 0845 606 0606.
