Toddler injuredby ice cream van

A toddler is in hospital with "serious internal injuries" after being hit by an ice cream van in South Yorkshire.

The two-year-old boy, from Rotherham, was taken to Sheffield Children’s Hospital with a broken leg and other injuries following the collision in Bolsover Road, Firth Park, at about 6.35pm on Thursday. Witnesses should call 0114 2202970.
