Top-class facilities at dental school
The transformation at Leeds Dental Institute will be officially unveiled today following major work leading to a 50 per cent increase in the number of dentists in training.
The investment is designed to create a first-class environment for patients and the most up-to-date facilities for the teaching of dental students.

Bosses at Leeds hospitals and Leeds University, which run the institute, bid for the investment three years ago so the number of undergraduates studying dentistry could be expanded.
Institute director Margaret Kellett said: “Thanks to this very significant investment we have transformed the building and provided a state-of-the-art facility where more dental students will be able to receive top quality training in a modern environment.”
