Tourist attraction hopes for sweet success
The latest addition to the city’s hugely successful tourism sector is due to open in the spring and will be called Chocolate – York’s Sweet Story. The project in King’s Square is being overseen by York-based firm Continuum, whose chief executive Juliana Delaney and general manager Ann Gurnell are shown cutting a celebratory cake.
Continuum helped establish one of the city’s other leading attractions, the Jorvik Viking Centre, and the new centre will provide an interactive experience for visitors to sample chocolate products while learning more about the confectionery trade.
