Town hailed for generous donations
A CHARITY which helped save the life of a little girl who had a heart transplant at just 16 months old has thanked the people of Doncaster for their support.
Former Civic Mayor Christine Mills selected “Live Life then Give Life” as one of her chosen charities last year, and £1,000 has been given to the cause.
Last week, Coun Mills met with Gabrysia Filarowski and her family to see how the charity has helped them.
Gabrysia, now aged five, was born with congenital heart disease and had to have a transplant.
