Town ready forcycling boost

Next Thursday councillors will be urged to approve, in principle, the draft proposals.

After a consultation exercise a report will then go back before the Cabinet.

Head of Highways John Burton said: “The use of these footpaths by cyclists will enable users to avoid heavily trafficked roads, provide cycle links between main facilities such as schools and the hospital and residential areas.”
