Boy, 16, dies after being hit by train at Shipley
A 16-YEAR-OLD boy had died after being hit by a train in West Yorkshire.
Police were called to a railway line near Shipley station just after 7pm yesterday. The boy, who has not been named, was pronounced dead at the scene.
A British Transport Police spokesman said: “Officers have informed the boy’s family and a specially trained officer is providing them with support. The incident is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.”
