Cyclist badly hurt in Bradford collision

A CYCLIST was seriously injured after crashing into a wall in Bradford.

The 38-year-old Bradford man was riding towards Keighley on Otley Road by Smithfield Lodge at East Morton when he is believed to have collided with a stone wall.

He suffered serious injuries and remains in hospital, where his condition is described as stable.

Enquiries are continuing and anyone who may have witnessed the collision or the events prior to it is asked to contact PC 2742 Sandford at the Safer Roads and Neighbourhood Support team on 101, quoting log 1420 of 15 July.
