West Yorkshire Police is trying to trace a car that is thought to have hit a pedestrian in Bradford over the weekend.

The collision happened about 11.30am on Saturday in North Avenue, close to the traffic lights outside Beacon House in the Manningham area.

The vehicle, thought to be a bright red Fiat Punto or Ford Fiesta had scratched hub caps and is said to have driven off and turned into Cunliffe Road.

A 26-year-old man was taken to hospital having suffered a broken wrist. He has since been discharged.
