Fresh appeal after tragic road death of two-year-old Bradford boy

POLICE have launched a fresh appeal for information following a collision last week which resulted in the death of a two-year-old Bradford boy.

Issac Brocklehurst suffered fatal injuries when he was involved in collision with a white Scania tipper truck on Valley Road, Bradford, just after 1pm on Tuesday February 23.

Police, who have issued a photograph of Issac with his mother Gemma Brocklehurst, said he is believed to have gone into the carriageway from between parked vehicles

Sergeant Ann Drury of West Yorkshire Police’s major collision enquiry team, said: “This has been a terrible incident which has resulted in the death of Issac at such a tragically young age.

“His family have been left devastated by the incident and we continue to appeal for witnesses as we investigate the circumstances of the collision.

“Anyone who saw the incident, or either Issac or the tipper truck involved just beforehand, is asked to call the major collision and enquiry Team via 101.”
